Being human.

He took a morphine vial and gingerly injected her.

Tears, hitherto unstoppable, stopped flowing. A smile broke through.

He thought, “May be that’s what being a doctor is”.

And verily, despite being mindlessly plastered everywhere, that’s what “being human” is.

Having stony tumors for both breasts, isn’t pretty at 15.
